This is my Fathers world !

This morning I went out as usual early around 6 am , with my hot black coffee in hand
to sit in my comfy white porch rocking chair.
This morning as I sit , I hear the birds singing, I am sure they are giving praise to our
Lord.  I hear in a distance Roasters crowing, thinking as I hear these Roasters that they too
are joining in Praising the Lord , also there were other creatures making noise joining the Praise
The little hummer that sit on my Trellis resting just for a minute I am sure they too give praise as they listen
and flutter around making noise with their wings. 
Psalms 150:6 says let EVERYTHING that has breath Praise the Lord.

As I sit giving my praise and thankfulness for GOD allowing me this morning to
listen to his world that he created for us to enjoy, The song  This is my Fathers world
comes to mind .I just had to share it .


This is my Father's world,


and to my listening ears

all nature sings, and round me rings

the music of the spheres.

Menopause or is it Power Surges ??

Menopause , yes I  have entered into this stage recently.  How does a woman that remains 29
get here ?? (My profile says I remain 29 ha ha) 

I decided that I would call mine power surges, as I am powerful hot
then I get powerful cold, I seem to just surge from one to the other fairly
quickly.
I had always been cold from the first day its cool  so yes, I am ready for heat, those
warm thick fuzzy throws to keep the body warm. 
My doctor and I were discussing the hot flashes and I told him they felt really
good and they only lasted a few minutes, that was a few months ago.
I now have longer lasting more frequent power surges. 

Withe the cold weather I haven't had the need for the warm fuzzy at night yet,
Its kind of nice.
I know my co worker whom I have burned up during the winters and froze her during
the summers is quite happy with the power surges. 

I am trying some natural ways to combat the night powerful surges
it seems to work well for me at this time, so if any of you are experiencing
the hot power surges, try this Ice water soon as you feel it coming on , I also keep a ice
pack by my bed and its feels so good.
For now I will keep trying the natural  vs any  pill , I know this will pass
soon so bring on the Ice !!!  (smile)

5997   Tuesday ~~For this day !!! 53 degrees as I sit covered up out on the porch waiting on the sunrise , looking and listening to nature thank you Lord for this another morning the freshness of each day.  My husband laughter at me outside wearing a hoddie and having a fuzzy throw to keep me warm I am blessed with his laughter, warm clothes .
5998   Thankful for John T bringing me three dozen corn from his families garden


5999   Wednesday ~~For this day !!! for laying in bed drinking coffee that my husband brought to me this morning , watching the today as I sleep off and on
thankful for a warm bed, hot coffee
6000   Thankful to see our doggies picture in the paper he is a sweetie
6001   Thankful for Cora's pimento cheese she has such a wonderful heart of sharing and giving how blessed I am to have her as my co-worker
6002   Thankful for the evening that I enjoyed outside watering my flowers
and giving fresh food to my hummers ..

6003   Thursday ~~For this day !!! the nights rest ,  For 61 degrees early morning to porch sit before work , to see the little hummers enjoying their fresh food what a joy to watch.  For life and each breath that I have taken today , for our ladies bible  study starting tonight our 11 week study of David

6004   Friday ~~For this day !! starting a few days off ~~Vacation~~
6005   Going with my sister to the Doctor and then on to see Dorinda and Rick also
our safety in traveling today
6009    My sister coming over and fixing Chicken and Dumplings

6010   Saturday ~~For this day !! Porch sitting longer and enjoying the morning
for  a few minutes on the deck in the sun

6011   Sunday ~~For this day !! Thankful for this Lords day to worship, for the sunshine to sit in today for this week of wonderful  blessings ....more than I could ever tell ....

for feeling my heart skip beats , thankful to get a Appt. with Dr Blackey
6014   Chuck getting to see a dermatologist for his rash that is all over his body that GOD gives Drs the knowledge to help us
6015    For our safety in travels as the rain was very heavy
6016    For Chuck talking to me into the night helping me calm down ...blessed with a husband that will help me

6017   Tuesday ~~For this day !!! having a good nights rest after going to sleep
for Chuck telling me this morning he  got  up at 3 he said he just was so worried about me that" I am his soul mate and how could he ever go on without your soul mate" for the tears he brought to my eyes as there were tears in his...............~~Love~~.................so thankful and blessed for his love

his itchy rash praying that GOD will heal this quickly .
6025    For a Job to come back to after a few days off
6026    For our ladies bible study group , For Margaret and Janice  along with a new lady openly sharing some of there past storms and how GOD had moved in their life's....

6027   Friday ~~For this day !!!
6028    For prayers being answered for my husband his rash is looking some better not as red and he rested last night ...PRAISE GOD ....
6029   For Dr.s office calling us with the results from lab and biopsy that they will be calling in some medication for infection ...thank you Lord for knowledge of Dr's and for the results not being so bad ....PRAISE GOD
6030    Tamsey cooked supper for us , also she went with me to see if phone service was good in a certain area and returned tea jar and dish to some kind people that brought us lunch today at work (the B's)

6031   Saturday ~~For this day !!!  PRAISE GOD for touching my husband his rash is looking better  (the first day of fall) the beauty of today the warmth I felt as I sit on the porch this morning as the sun was shinning in on me. Thankful to clean the hummers feeders keeping them clean and full for them as they will be making their journey soon to stay warm during the winter
6032   Thankful for the singing Cooke's celebrating 50 years of gospel music tonight in Pigeon Forge
6033    For quiet time to study about David , Saul and Jesse

6034    Sunday ~~For this day !!! For the wonderful nights rest , a comfy bed, a husband who
says good morning I love you ....
6035   For church this morning , the sweet lady Cindy that is new to our church she has such a
great personality ..
6036    Tears from a note I read from Cors .....(LC) I know what it is like to be a daddy's girl
and want to be with my daddy as she does on this special day !!! Thank you Lord for the sweetest
kindest most thoughtful co worker ever ....I am blessed...

TV shows from long ago

Today I am thinking back to those childhood days  of my favorite TV shows.

The Beverly Hillbillies~~ I got to meet Elly Mae some years back, she is in the ministry
or she was like twenty years ago , She still looked like Elly Mae just as pretty as ever
she had a wonderful Testimony .

Gillian's Island ~ this show I remember when we got our first color Tv we ran home
to watch Gillian's Island My brother and I were so excited , I can hear him say look
they have on Yellow rain coats!

I love Lucy ~ I still love to watch the reruns when I see one , my husband calls me Ethel
oh but I want to be the funniest one Lucy.

The Andy Griffith show ~ Still watching reruns on this show as well I just cant nip it in the bud and turn
it off. haha,  I loved Ernest T Bass and you know he only appeared in 3 or 4 shows.

Gomer Pyle ~ who didn't love Gomer, now Sargent Carter you just had to love him
too !

My three sons~ I loved it when Robby got married and the triplets came along ,also
the little girl, l I am trying to recall maybe her name was Dotty she was a cutie


Bewitched~~ Samantha and Darren , sweet little Tabitha
How I wanted to twitch my nose like Tabitha .
Endora always causing problems


My all time favorite is ........................

Petticoat Junction ~ I wish they would show some reruns of this I  even have my house done in
those colors of the Shady Rest Hotel  Rockers on the front porch for me instead of Old Joe who is always moving kind of slow at the Junction (I made have a sign that says welcome to Shady Rest at the end of my drive)

I wish that we could go back to those good old days of good clean fun

"Did He Get What He Paid For " ?

Last night at church the preacher said something that made me stop and think.~~
He was talking about how we need to be on fire for the Lord.

He said this past week the thought came to him as he purchased something.  I know from time
to time I too, have thought Did I get what I paid for.

His thought was Did Jesus get what he paid a great price for in me ? 
This has sand deep into my heart , I wanted to share this thought  with Blog land.


hmmmmm makes one think or it did me !!!

5959   Thankful that GOD forgives me when I say and do  things I should not
when I want to take things into my hands and not leave it to him ...he still loves me
5960    For the things I fail to say thank you to GOD each time I pay a Electric bill, or go to the grocery store even each time I start a load of laundry ...I am blessed
Thank you LORD for your blessings on me.
5961   For laughs with my husband .....Power surges...

5962   Wednesday ~~For this day !!! Being blessed to get up another day and go out to porch sit at 6 am with my husband, Champ and Lady . 
To enjoy this time together and the first cup of coffee together as we watch our little feathered friends....(I think as I watch them how much GOD cares about the birds and oh how he loves us )  This song comes to my mind...Consider the Lillie's they don't toil nor spend but there is not a king with more splendor than them ..Consider the Sparrow he don't plant nor sow but he is feed by the Master who watches him grow .....................We have a heavenly father above with eyes full of mercy and a heart full of love ....
5963   Thankful for slow cookers and living close to go home at lunch to check on them  for my husband helping with dish's  each day
5964   For my nightly devotional  and prayer time .....

5965   Thursday ~~For this day !!! Another wake up from my Heavenly Father
5966   For a Husband who this morning brought me coffee to bed and when
asked for a refill he does this again with much love
5967   For the husband that is waiting and opening the door when I get home from
work this night and each night

5968   Friday ~~For this day !!! Blessed to be able to porch sit with my my husband and that first cup of coffee.   For the enjoyment of living the simple life receiving much happiness from GOD's beauty and his many many ....blessings each and every day .
5969   For the most beautiful sunrise this morning , the pinks, the golds, the white and blue sky ...a Master artist that with just the touch of his finger swirled the colors

5970   Saturday ~~For this day !! this is the day the Lord hath made let us rejoice and be glad in it !!!
5971   Thankful to get to talk to Matt about how no one is perfect and their is brokenness and cracks in everyone's life.
5972  My sister came by we cooked , then went to do some grocery shopping

to sit on the porch and enjoy nature and my coffee.

5984    For mowing the lawn almost finished then the rain came but we so need rain again I go back to the porch to sit and enjoy the wind and rain oh the little hummers love the rain to

Blessed to be able to go out before sunrise and sit on the porch with my morning coffee, my mornings on the porch have sure made this gal happy to watch the little hummers  all the other birds , the rabbits, the squirrels , hearing the kids laughter down the street .


5986   Friday ~~For this day ~~Yes I am blessed and thankful for this another morning to go
out and sit on my porch enjoying the early morning .  I say this over and over but GOD knows the love I have for the outdoors and nature ....love the simple life ....

Flowers Shared

I cut the above flowers Friday morning

I wanted to enjoy the beauty of my flowers at work

Thinking only about me

and my enjoyment when I gathered these.

I noticed the flowers not only brought enjoyment to me

also to others that came in

I watched as the put their nose to them to smell

some asked who got flowers?

others asked who grew these ?

while others said I like the white or I like the Salomon colored

Is this a knock out ?

this one smells best !

while some said nothing but enjoying the beauty of the smell.

I got a double joy in sharing  my flowers that God allowed me to have

seeing joy in the customers faces

as they smelled or asked those questions

Joy shared is Joy doubled
