Simple Pleasure Thursday 7 28 2011

My simple pleasure this week is one of a quote I read about Love

"A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love
will have no roses"

As I read this I thought how wonderful it is to know that
with each thorn on a steam may be painful to touch but
oh sitting at the top of that Thorny steam ....is the beauty
of the rose , the smell, the beauty it brings with each new bloom
busting full of color.

Love may have many thorns, however  remembering the top will always have more
blooms and beauty .....when looking at the picture below roses in full bloom we cant even see the thorns
This simple pleasure of a quote and the beauty of love ..................is endless ..............

The shining CHRISTian

Sunday our pastor's message was on the shining christian

He spoke on Mosses and how in

Exodus 34 29-35

Moses face when coming down from

the mountain  with the  ten commandants

how his face shone so bright

that others were afraid

Moses had to wear a veil

to cover the brightness or radiance of his face as he and GOD

had been together

WOW can you imagine

someones face so Bright with GODs radiance

that you couldn't look at them ..

Wouldn't it be awesome to see CHRISTians face

shine like that today

I suppose we too would be afraid

As I journey with GOD in my life

I pray that others can see the light of CHRIST

in me

I fail CHRIST daily

but he has yet to fail me

May we reflect on how we shine our light to others

 May we try each day to let our light shine for CHRIST
as our CHRISTian goal is to become like
JESUS CHRIST

3793    Cleaning our house =I am blessed with a house that GOD has allowed me to borrow
3794    Cooked Supper == I have food to eat !!
3795    Cora inviting me to come pick blueberries which I did

3797     Tuesday ~~for this day !!
3798      Cora bringing  me more blueberries
3799       Mowing grass and watering my flowers = prayer time with the GOD of all creation I love prayer time outside

3801     Wednesday ~~for this day !!! with Early AM porch sitting
3802      chatting with Estill early this morning about Heaven and our loss is heaven 
3803      The look of love on my husband face when I came back in after forgetting something this morning

3818   The smell of my husband as he puts on his Cologne
3819   Church and our church family as we greet each other in christian love
3820   Children's church ~~the laughter and joy they bring (I think they all had chocolate before coming forward ~ the congregation sure enjoyed those young kids today so full of energy
3821    We broke ground for our new mission house
3822     My sister and I going to a few stores looking at purses
3823     Stopping by Alma and Charles = we left with a bag of fresh garden vegetables and left over Dinner = a wonderful treat
3824     Finally giving Champion his bath after church today


Many blessings I have received ....100,080 minutes that GOD allowed me THANK YOU LORD
for blessings on me ...............................

Simple Pleasure Thursday 7 21 2011

My simple pleasure is one that has taken weeks as I only have every other weekend off.
which makes it difficult to finish a project such has painting and putting things back together
as you can see it was a mess, moving things everywhere

I feel that this work has turned into my simple pleasure of

my completed task

I am loving the new wall decals

My camera shots aren't the best due to using my phone camera

now its nice to have it all finished

even though its work

its my simple pleasure to be a nice and comfy and back together

3758      My husband coming out to say he was watching me to make sure I was ok in the heat = his love for me .

Simple pleasure Thursday 7-14-2011

My Simple Pleasure this week is while being with family a few weeks ago and  my sister in law had took
some of my pictures that I had sent to her  and gave to me in frames. How thoughtful I told her that I could enjoy the beauty even in the winter or snowy days I will have spring to view.
The picture that I have used was taken with my phone camera the quality isn't good
but you can see how she has them arranged for me to hang as I am not
a very good Decorator, as for her talent I would put her against any designer~~!!!~~~

My Simple Pleasure is one of being out just before the sun coming up walking down my lane
what a wonderful time to be out enjoying the little walk and watching the sun peep over the trees
I am so thankful for just being out each morning that I can before and walking early is a plus for this
gal !
