I want to give GOD praise for allowing me to
complete my first 5K color me purple run/walk
yesterday .
If you knew me then you would know that I have had a torn meniscus(thank you Lord for your healing touch)
along with moderately severe osteoarthritis in my knees . I couldn't walk the track a complete
round last year.
I may be slow and not walk the fasted or that I can only jog a short distance
but hey its all about I finished ..
I know that in time with practice I can and will do better with each one
A bucket list completed
Also this 5K was walked in honor of a dear friend of mine going though
chemo and radiation now , My prayer for her is that GOD would touch her to be
cancer free. Also that she and I can do a 5K together soon
Thank you Lord for you blessings on this ole country gal !!

- First let me say that I am a born again christian and try to follow what JESUS would have me do ..I fail him daily, yet he picks me up and says try again my child !!!! knowing that he is closer to me than the air I breathe !that I am just dust designed by my Redeemer!! Some of my interest are Genealogy , Landscaping, photography , love watching HGTV and now learning to Blog Again keep in mind all my posts are from the heart..
