Multitude on Mondays Week 141 Jan 21-27 2012

                     

Trying to count the multitude of blessings is like standing on the shore trying to count each grain of sand

Giving thanks To GOD this week for ..................

6451  Monday ~~For this day !!! thankful that I can pray asking GOD to let me hear his voice very plain on something I have been praying about and his telling me what to do ....................Thankful for a new week to try being more thankful
and giving more Praise to GOD who owns it all !!!

6452   For the Sunshine on a cold Day ...........
6463   Thankful my husband had a sweet potato and broiled hamburger ready when I came in from work

6464    Tuesday ~~For this day !!!  thankful for each and every morning early I hear my husbands voice saying "Good Morning I love you "
6465    For the bright sunshine again today when it is 14 thank you Lord
6466    The beautiful sunset I saw from work ...........what a awesome Artist
you are Lord ..................!!!

6467    Wednesday ~~For this day !!! the beauty I see in the sun on my way to work
for a job , for morning coffee to keep me warm , for warm clothes, for oranges
for trusting you Lord that you know the way and you know my heart and needs

6471    Staying home due to the Ice storm we are  having today
6472    My husbands words you are more precious to me than anything .... as he didn't want me to leave for work ....
6473    For my neighbors text asking if I was going to work , and text her when I got there ....sweet to know you have neighbors that care !!
6474     Home made soup ...yummy on such a cold day
6475      For Psalms 62:11  Asking to make sure I  am hearing the voice of GOD and my nightly devotional last night  I read this .............wow ............... I know GOD will take care of me and my needs ...........what a blessings when he sends confirmation ............

6476   Saturday ~~For this day !!! For seeing the sunshine as I was leaving for work , the beauty of the sun shinning though the trees on the ice , it was like diamonds on the trees
6477   For a busy day at work making the day pass fast
6478   For the questions on a blog my husband and I answered last night ....the laughs, the fun, the time spent talking ............................

6479   Sunday ~~For this day !!! the beautiful Sunday ..the sunshiny Thur the door and champion laying in the sunlight ...even my little champ inside longs for sunshine

The Voice of GOD

I have been praying for some time now about
something and what GOD would have me
do .
This past week or two when I have been praying and asking
about this need , I would hear the voice say "Hold on" or
"Trust me " its on its way so to speak was what I thought I
was hearing
I began to pray and ask GOD that if I was hearing his voice
just right I wanted to be sure so I would just be still and listen
hearing this for again ...
Then on Thursday night when I sit down to be quite and do my nightly
devontional I have been reading in Psalms nightly for several weeks
and Thursday night I began in Psalms 62.
I came to verse 11.......................wow ..................

11 One thing God has spoken,


two things I have heard:

“Power belongs to you, God,

This to me is confirmation as I had heard not one but two things that I thought
was the Lord telling me to "hold on " and "trust me"


To know that GOD cares enough for me to have me reading this chapter  on the night I had even
discussed it with my co worker  about wanting to be sure I was hearing GOD's voice
right ......................................

I say thank you Lord for Loving this ole Gal !!!

6432   To have the day off, starting my spring cleaning , thankful
to have my husband to help me lift and move things in the bedroom
For vacuum and cleaning supplies
6433   For my nightly devotional to praise, pray, and read the bible

6434   Tuesday ~~For this day !!! that it is cold , 30 degrees colder than Sunday
but I am blessed with warmth , a fuzzy warm dog at my back, while we lay in bed
6435   No ice on the road only trees
6436   I am thankful that Cors brought us lunch today

6437  Wednesday ~~For this day !!! another blessed day to wake to warm shelter from the cold rain outside
6438   To have this day off and getting another room bathroom spring cleaned
6439   Thankful to have fixed breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for us today
6440   Thankful for Bro Woods, who is now inside the gates of heaven , when I attended his church I learned alot under his teachings ......

6441   Thursday ~~For this day !!
6442      Thankful that I was able to get to the grocery store before work as we prepared for
snow....it was  snowing at 3 o'clock today and now at 4 o'clock its melting ...thank you Lord for melting snow

6443    Friday ~~For this day !! the nights rest , warm home and shelter from the cold , morning coffee brought to me by my husband
6444   For the Sun being out early this morning love the sunshine ..................
6445   For my husband going out around 6:30 this morning and salting the steps so I wouldn't slip when
I left for work ...................Thoughtful.............loving .....................

6446   Saturday ~~For this gift of today !!!
6447    Thankful for the day off cleaning a little , being lazy , nightly devotional

6448   Sunday ~~For this day !!!
6449   For listening to preachers on Tv and reading some in the book if you want to walk on the water you have to get out of the boat....my boat was brought to my attention in this first chapter ...not getting out and going to church for the past few weeks due to the flu being so wide spread .....
6450    For the beautiful Saturday and Sunday warm and sunny in the 50's thank you Lord

Proverbs 30:18-19


New Living Translation (NLT)



18 There are three things that amaze me—

no, four things that I don’t understand:

19 how an eagle glides through the sky,

how a snake slithers on a rock,

how a ship navigates the ocean,

how a man loves a woman.


Solomon was the son of David, he was known
for his wisdom. 
In these two verses he penned , I wonder if he stood
and watched the Eagle glide so gracefully through the sky
I think of the freedom of a Eagle and what a sight it is
to see him glide though the air , it seems as though he owns the sky.............

The snake can slither on a rock never leaving a trail
of where he was or where he is going ............

Those  big ships are  amazing how they
can go from port to port and not get lost
they stay right on course ...................

Love .....no other words when you think about it ...................

Solomon and his wisdom was amazed and didn't understand
All I can say is  ...............that's God .................

6413   For this being our anniversary of 24 years !
6414   For our water coming back on after being off most of the day
6415   For remembering my brothers words to me 2 years ago today
as I stood beside his bed in the emergency room when I walked in
he looked at me and said "don't ever stop praying or going to church its real
I saw it" if ever I were to have a time of doubt I pray that I would always
remember my brothers words ...........It's Real !!!
he told of so much during the last month of his life from this day until leaving us Feb 11 2011.

6416    Tuesday ~~for this day !!! bedside coffee brought by a clean shaved husband !!
6417    For the sunshine and the warmer day   almost 60 today thank you Lord !! for my nightly
devotional .................

6418    Wednesday~~for this day !!! for being woke up to these words ...how does it fell to know
you are loved by the one who created the stars up above......wow...awesome love.......
6419    For shelter from the rain ........to have a warm comfy bed, clean clothes, the smell of clean ...

6420    Thursday ~~For this day !!! waking up from a nights rest thank you Lord !
6421    Thankful to live close when I spilled hot tea all over me, to run home and jump in the shower
thank you Lord for hot showers and Dove Fresh soap !!

6422   Friday ~~For this day !!! another gift from the Master creator
6423   For the sky at sunset with the beautiful pinks can you just see GOD taking his finger
and swirling those colors to create such beauty .................................endless beauty from the Master
6424   Talking to Ruth , the laughs , its so true even though we live  miles apart true friends
are like they have never been separated ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,we may not see each other often but we
do have long talks and I think GOD for cell phones and her having free long distance that she can
call and talk hours running my cordless phones dead ....

6425   Saturday ~~For this day !!! and the many blessings I received , the wonderful warm
70's day, the rest, my job and being busy..........

6427   Fixing breakfast= we have food on our table,
6428   Going out to feed the birds , watching the most beautiful Red Bird feasting on the food,the song
this is my fathers world ,Feeling GOD's presence in my life as I Praise him for this day
6429   Tears they are a language that GOD understands...........................
6430   Memories of my mother this morning as I was in the kitchen................the tears of love for loved ones that are now in Heaven .......... The GOD she loved and Praised, .the bible she read about , the faith she had,  the hymns she sang , that she has been rejoicing since 1983 in the presence of the Almighty GOD !!!




 

Could It Be Spring in January ???

This time in January is most always cold, most likely we would have some of that
white fluffy stuff called snow .
Not this week we have had warm sunny days with some rain high in the 70's
this week has been my kind of January !
Last night the pink sky at sunset was beautiful !as I looked at the sky I could just
imagine GOD taking the tip of his finger swirling those colors to create this beauty
what a artist our Creator is.
I should have ran and got my camera to take a picture of the beauty that was
before me , I choose to just stand and admire the beauty to thank God
for the sky the colors of pink and blue.
I am hoping the next 67 days until spring is just like this past week !!

Yes, I am going to enjoy this 70's kind of day even if I have to work
I will be thankful for those big windows that allow me to see the beauty
from my work !!

What I found in my Dear Mr. Someday ~~updated~~

I was reading a blog about a lady writing what she wants
in her future husband the title was Dear Mr. Someday she had listed 50 wants                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
I  too had alot of wants in my Mr. Someday .....................


I have thought about this and wanted to blog about
what I have found in my Dear Mr Someday
twenty five plus  years ago . ....................

1.  I have found that I have had a Mr someday that says each night
Good night I love you .and has every night for the last 24 plus years ( we just celebrated our 24th year Jan 7 2013)
2.  A Good Morning I love you
3.  Brings Coffee to my bed to wake me up with a hug and kiss = this makes me feel like a queen in the mornings ...........
4.  One that I have laughed with
5.  One that has stood beside me held my hand and wiped my tears
6.  Honest ....believe me he is honest
7.  That we are  walking the journey together (even on bad days when I am not having a good man day (Smile)  we are still on this daily walk of Love
8.  That he wants me near him after all these 23 years
9.  That he Loves God
10. That he trusts me as  I trust him
11. That our marriage like all other has good and bad days but when I think back on the days
its more good than bad
12.  That he isn't a big spender
13   That he will say I am sorry when needed
14.  That he laughed at my hair this morning and took a picture = we can laugh at each other and not be mad or hurt
15.  That he loves animals and should have been a vet
16   reaches his hand out in the middle of the night to help me turn over
17   that he says come talk to me
18   he has a beautiful voice and sings to me
19   he loves my flowers and the birds  almost as much as I do
20   that he says he loves me MORE with each day
21  That  he cares about my safety
22   if he is in town will bring me a sweet tea just because he knows I like them
23   has a heart of gold
24   that he doesn't mind giving to others in need
25   That tells me he cherishes me more than I will ever know :>)
26   That he likes to cuddle
27   That he likes to hold my hand
28    He says tell me about your day
29    He never wants to hurt any one's feelings and worries if he thinks he has
30    He loves my family
31    He never complains about me not cooking or that he has to eat the same thing
until its gone .................
32     That he washes the dishes each day .......
33     That he will run the vacuum
34     That he has been there in the Good days and also in the Bad ones
35     That he doesn't get out and run around, bars . drinking etc. = I am blessed!!!
36     That when I have been awake at night he will say "you want to talk "
37     That he wants the best for me and never says don't buy this or that .....
38     He will have his famous Potato soup fixed at just the right time ...I think he can read my mind
39     That he makes me laugh ......
40     That he always puts his clothes in the hamper ...that's a wonderful plus for me
41     He likes a clean house (with the exception of our computer room )
42     He is my helpmate
43     He would protect me to the end ..............................
44     That he is my best friend
45    That he is not a name brand person or must keep up with the Jones so to speak
46     That he gives me a $1.00 (some will know what this means)
47     That he is a history buff , means I am learning some about history if I will listen
48     That he knows not to use masking tape for painters tape (Smile) and I thought it
would
49     That he grills our dinner and has it ready when I get home
50      That he is the one I can tell anything to knowing it stays right there .....my help mate, my better half, my best friend, my mr someday ...........................................................
