Scripture and Snapshot Sunday 2 20 2011

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and [that] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.   Jeremiah 17:8

I stood  looking  at the roots going into the ground and how firm they are planted near the water,  the roots must be really deep into the soil as  the trees has no doubt stood many storms, having  been bent from the storms but still standing with the roots still deep

just as we should be like this tree we may be bent and worn Thur the years of life's storms  but to be strong and planted firm with GOD and in GOD's word

Multitute Monday week 38 Feb 7-13 2011

     

                                                 I AM THANKFUL FOR

1998    Monday~~For this day !!
1999    That I have lost a total of 15 pounds
2000     For Multitudes more than I could ever post  this has been a great blessing for me to stop each day and look at so much so differently and know that I am thankful and blessed beyond words...........
2001    thoughtful customers that bring us sweet bread (that I cant eat but didn't want to hurt her feelings)
2002    A warmer day and the sun is shining
2003    Our family concerned for each other
2004     For the many many tears I have shed ..Tears of love for my brother ...Lord Thank you for giving him to me .......for recalling days of growing up with him ......

2050     Going and staying with my brother just me and him in the room , I sang , I told him how each one loved him, I read the bible PS 91 telling him what I was learning in bible study and trying to memorize PS 91
2051      For that two finger squeeze from my brother when I asked if I could pray to squeeze my hand
2052     My brother went to heaven around 10:30 
2053     For my husband shoulder to cry on 
2054     For the life my brother lived there is no doubt he is in Heaven

Simple Pleasure Thursday 2-10-2011

My Simple Pleasure today is

Simply stopping to get gas

at a local gas station

this older gentleman

I would guess his

age to be in the 80's

still works the station everyday

He pumped my gas

I told him to have a good day

and he said young lady

everyday is a good

day when you are

my age

This just simply made my day

thinking how most people

his age would

not be as happy or

having a good day !!!

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

I love David’s attitude in today’s verse. He was declaring the goodness of God and bragging on His faithfulness! We need to always remember that every blessing in our life is from Him. That promotion, good break, healing or new opportunity — that was God’s doing. Scripture says that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above.

We used to sing a song growing up, “Look What the Lord Has Done.” It was a song that just bragged on God. It was a great reminder that all through the day we should be bragging on God’s goodness. We should be remembering His mighty acts. See, when we give God all the glory, that’s when He will pour out His blessings in greater measure. When we are humble and don’t try to take the credit, His grace and favor increases on us.

Today, look for opportunities to brag on God. If you are breathing today, brag on Him as your Creator. If you got to work safely today, brag on Him for being your Protector. If you are facing a difficulty, brag on the fact that He is your Deliverer and breakthrough is on the way! Keep declaring His goodness and faithfulness and watch what God will do on your behalf

eight year old doggie

that we love so much

He is my I will never have a dog in my house dog

is the most loving doggie I have ever saw

all he ask is someone to pet and love on him
