Birds

I have bird feeders out in the front yard 

I thought how nice it would be to watch the birds as 

We washed dishes 

my cell phone didn't does these birds that visited justice 

they were beautiful  stopping to 

look at me in the window as if to say 

thank you for the evening meal 

I say thank you little Birds for the enjoyment 

you bring to me

                               A few weeks ago I received the little card to the left of the picture
its so nice to be remember by friends from my home state and just that someone thought about
me sure made this ole' Gal's day.
Nothing like getting cards and gifts for no reason from friends in my home state

Cement Pond

My Cement Pond 

Growing up I had this little cement pond 

not like the one on the Beverly Hillbillies as 

Ellie Mae enjoyed 

I am sure I enjoyed this little pond just 

as much as Ellie Mae 

Each spring my dad would paint the inside blue 

clean and fill it with water 

I would get so excited 

I could hardly wait  get my bathing suit on 

get in and just swim around or so I thought 

I was swimming more like just 

moving around along the sides 

as you can see in the picture below 

its not a big cement pond 

more like a Fish pond  and Bird  bath 

I sure spent many enjoyable days 

in this little pond ...

Mornings at the Bird Cafe

 

                                                      Nothing I like better than watching the birds

                                  I have said many times we can learn a  lot from the birds
                                                    they sing no mater the weather
                                                I hear them sing on cold mornings,
                                                  mornings of rain or storms   they still sing
                            In Psalms it says let everything that hath breath to Praise the Lord
                                      I just bet they are singing Praises to our Lord

Valentines 2014

My Valentine always picks out the most beautiful cards for me 

the words and what he wrote brought tears to this gals 

heart 

forever will never be long enough long as its with you 

the ending to the most beautiful words on this card 

                                                   

                                 My one Red Rose means as much as if he had got 100 dozen
                                                        as it came from the heart
                                          its not the amount its the LOVE thats in the gift that counts

Winter Blast !!!!

I woke this morning  nice and warm in our bed
then I look at the outdoor temperature of 4 degrees
My thoughts turn to 4 degrees ......I begin
to pray for those that are homeless that they would
find a warm shelter and nice hot meals to eat
Each one that reads this please pray for those
that are homeless and in need of warm food, clothes and shelter
