Simple Pleasure
Each week
Each week
I am blessed with many Simple Pleasures
as I am a simple gal
with a very simple life
I love digging in the dirt
getting flowers planted
working in my flowers
this year I had been having some issue with my knee
I had worried and worried over
how would I ever get all the things
how would I ever get all the things
done outside that I love , didn't want no one
else to help as its my love
and my time in the garden
with GOD
after work one evening this week my knee has been doing better
and for this I must PRAISE GOD
I was able to get dirty and get some of the landscaping done
Its still a work in progress
For this simple pleasure Its still a work in progress
for the dirty hands working in the mulch
I have this plaque as it says alot about the garden
My simple pleasure is one
that I so so love
nothing better than being out in the open
air working in the flowers !!
As I do want to walk hand in hand with GOD

Nice simple pleasure, Glenna. And the purple flowers in your header are exquisite. Susan
ReplyDeleteMe too!!! Hope your weekend is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Redo 101 to see my mother's aprons, you're right they are a treasure! I love visiting your blog, I am also a Christian trying to walk beside the Lord. I "followed" your blog and look forward to seeing you again.

A girl after my heart. Gardening ... love it. (And I like your new "look" on your blog. Very nice.)
ReplyDeleteI like to see a beautiful garden but I don't have green fingers myself, fortunately my husband doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. I love your header photo, it's absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBest simple pleasure this week!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Digging in the dirt, talking to God with beautiful results!
I learned the pleasure of working in the yard and getting my hands dirty from my Mom. When you look out at the lovely flowers, you know it was all worthwhile. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love the plaque at the end of this. It reminds me of my mother. In fact, this whole simple pleasure reminds of her. She loves to get her hands dirty digging in her garden. I wish that I had inherited the gardening gene from her.
