Simple Pleasure Thursday 5 26 2011

I have had a great weekend we normally don't get three days off together and only every other Saturday
so this is a treat and I have sure did some things I simply love
Saturday we got up early  took off to my favorite place to purchase flowers about an hours  drive there  and such a beautiful one also just look at those mountains (I tell my husband that we are looking toward Ky so that's why they are so pretty )

Then we come back home unload the flowers

 Then off to wally world for mulch,  we make our purchase come back to unload and now time for this gal to get busy at what she loves.  I worked several hours Saturday  mulching ,planting some of the flowers
pulling weeds putting up more bird feeders out back, did a little spray painting on a stone .
I was so thrilled at doing all this I stood in my garage and just praised the LORD for a little time as he is the one who has allowed me to do this.  I had so worried that I wouldn't get to work in it this year as my knee had been giving me some problems I just want to praise him right here and thank him for allowing this ole gal the time she got to spend in her yard,Saturday and Sunday,  those that are nature and flower lovers will understand my love for this.

                                           

 I had to get ready to go to my mother in laws for her birthday another  hour drive but we enjoy the  scenery and time together as this is a true pleasure to spend the days together
Sunday Another beautiful day I got back out for a few more hours got all the flowers planted have some more mulching to do and some work out back but this gal has sure enjoyed the sun, the warmth , the togetherness , mornings of coffee on the porch

So yes I have to say I had more than one pleasure this past weekend and loved every minute of it !!!
maybe next week I can show the finished yard .
