God's Overwhelming Love

I will start with the afternoon of  April 14 2016, a beautiful sunny day to be outside
I have a huge bush pile that I needed to burn , getting the fire started it wasn't burning the way
I thought it should so i go get our gasoline from the garage (bad mistake) I poured some
on the fire ...puff... the flames shot up and I ran backwards (bad mistake #2 )I fall and immediately I knew my arm or wrist or both were broke.
I go inside and get ice out of the fridge to put on my wrist and calmly tell my husband that he needs to take me to the doctors in another town as I know I have broke my arm ( it looked so deformed I couldn't look at it)
We stopped at our local clinic as my husband thought we should,  they x rayed and said its broke in two places, we then travel to the Orthopedic clinic( did I mention I have no Insurance I lost it some time back ), more x rays then the dr says your wrist is shattered, we can put it back in place however it will not stay without surgery. They did put it back in place
As they try to find a wrist Surgeon for me to see the next day, I stood praying that God
you place me with the one that is best for me , the one you want me to have .
All night I just layed in bed not sleeping but praying and talking to GOD knowing he was hearing my cries. I asked GOD to go before as we traveled back to the surgeons office
I come back the next day to see the surgeon more x rays, yes its still in place . the doctor informed me that it was in place and since I didn't have Insurance  I could try and let it heal without surgery(he tells me surgery is between eight to ten thousand dollars or more), he stepped outside the door and what I heard next  ( every time I think or talk about this tears flow just as now) was this Doctor saying  " I do not want any charges to her all my services are at no cost)
I am overwhelmed with tears when he returns I say " I just heard what you said and all I know to say is you will be blessed for this " his reply was " I am just glad I can help you.(GOD provided)

The Doctor say I want to see you again in ten days we will see if it is still in place and healing.
On our hour or so drive  home I had some calls from different family and friends asking what I was told . I received a call back from one of the ones that I had told my report to  their words were
"he said to tell you what ever you need to get your wrist fixed you have it don't worry about the cost "
(GOD provided)
Ten days later I return more x rays, the Doctor walks in saying your wrist has shifted even more
if you continue to let it heal in this cast you will have little to no use of your hand and wrist, surgery is the only way it will heal he then says " don't worry, my services are at no cost to you " the only thing you will have to pay for is the use of the operating room and the anesthesiologist. (GOD provided)

I will say this GOD will Go before you and make all things possible when you dont know what to do he has the answers and is always a on time GOD

Though the eyes of a child

I hosted a Ornament exchange party this week
I sit and watched this sweet child stand on the tins I had
under the tree and how she moved from one ornament to another
standing on each tin just touching each one

My thoughts were this is Christmas , this picture says is all
though the eyes of a child

Merry Christmas to all may we each  have the  eyes of a child though the coming year
focusing on Christ. with that child like faith

Brown Bag Christmas

This year I had posted on facebook  about Christmas past
and how when we were young the scent of Fruit
filled the air in our little Methodist Church.
My friends spoke of how this doesn't happen anymore
to my surprise today the pastor walks in to my
work with a brown paper bag filled with fruit and candy
how awesome is that .

Apples, Orange, candy and Juicy Fruit gum

My thoughts were actually on the smell or aroma that filled the little church
and how we should be filled with the Holy Spirit and show the juicy fruit

Merry Christmas to all

Shorkie our new furbaby

We just welcomed  a new fur baby
into our home today Feb 5 2017
four weeks (born Jan 8 2017 )old she comes with bottle feedings
and lots of cuddles and love
just look at her so tiny and cute
all brown except
the white you see on her sweet little face
she also has some white on her paws kind of like
she has on white gloves

                                                              look at her blue eyes

I had said I didn't want another fur baby after our sweet champion went to doggy heaven
I gave in to my husband wanting a puppy .  I told my husband that she  has big shoes to fill as Champie was my perfect dog ..

Oh I almost forgot to tell you she is a Shorkie and  her name is Kate,  the name fit for a princess
that she is.

I am sure we will have bring much love to our home

I know I am a few days late but just had to share my cup

Sharing my Cup of Happiness today

shovel and dirt

Last night I sure enjoyed shoveling
some dirt and daylilies, it sure doesn't take
much to make this simple country girl HaPpY
my five year old neighbor came over to help
makes my heart smile that little ones want to
help dig in the dirt and flowers.

Simple life.... simple joys.... may I always be thankful
for all the little things as well as the big things ...

Spring and Summer Look

I purchased this spring looking quilt back in early March
to put on our bed after I spring cleaned however my room never got spring
cleaned this year due to my fall
however I decided the other day with the help of My husband
spring cleaned or not I was putting this on our bed
I love the colors, the cheerfulness it brings

Simple Pleasure

I had been wanting a lamp to convert to a solar lamp for my little
country porch.
Its the simple things in life that bring great pleasure as I sit here in my white rocker
enjoying the night with a little wine I enjoyed this simple little brass pineapple
lamp...

Simple Pleasure for a Simple ole country gal
May you too enjoy the simple things in life
