I try each day to have some quite time alone with GOD to pray , and to give praise to GOD
I love being outside so during the work in my yard I do some praying and praising GOD for
all the things he allows me to have
I then go to the porch for some really quiet time to talk to GOD , kind of like to just ask him to feel me with his presence at this time on Wednesday night he sure did that if anyone would have been near they would have thought whats going on as I was feeling the presence so strong and praying, praising GOD I was allowed to see something I know this had to be of GOD , it was as though I could see someone dear to me sitting by some beautiful water with the pants rolled up and sitting with just their feet in the water I was like what is this I am seeing it was as if GOD said my child this is the river of life .
I have looked for images of a river to post with this but none came near to what I saw the water was beautiful the surroundings were also .
I am trying during my lunch time to get in the car and read the bible each day
here are some ways to get quiet with GOD
~~You may want to take a walk in the quiet of the morning
~~ Sit on the porch early morning or late evening
~~ Drive somewhere that it will be quiet
~~ Be flexible: Don't feel that you have to do the same thing every quiet time. Allow the Lord to lead you and show you what he wants you to do each day.
Quiet time is more than just a daily appointment "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name" in Psalm 100:4 NKJV. We should approach God in thanksgiving as we praise and worship him.

ReplyDeleteit's only me and Laska the love Kitty in my apartment on most days. Pardon me a moment while I deal with the love Kitty who currently has his claws dug into the screen door -------------- there, I'm back now. Anyway, silent times aren't exactly a rarity – but remembering to speak with our Lord during the silent times – that I always need a reminder for – so thank you. There is no one better to talk to in a silent time than the God of the universe who loves me – us. God bless and keep you Glenna!
