First let me say that I am a born again christian and try to follow what JESUS would have me do ..I fail him daily, yet he picks me up and says try again my child !!!! knowing that he is closer to me than the air I breathe !that I am just dust designed by my Redeemer!! Remember when reading my blogs they are not wrote correct but from the heart ! I need lessons in writing correctly and making these interesting. I grew up in a small town and everyone knowing my family to come to a state with my husband that I knew almost no one I will say after 23 years its still hard ...I love to go back to KY as its where most of my family are I come from a large family of 9 me being the 9th ... Some of my interest are Genealogy , Landscaping, photography , love watching HGTV and now learning to Blog Again keep in mind all my posts are from the heart.. I love to laugh love being around good old friends and family I want enjoy each day as each day is a gift from the Master Creator !! my motto is I remain 29 forever !!!!! :)

Simple Pleasure Thursday 7 21 2011

My simple pleasure is one that has taken weeks as I only have every other weekend off.
which makes it difficult to finish a project such has painting and putting things back together
as you can see it was a mess, moving things everywhere
I feel that this work has turned into my simple pleasure of
my completed task
I am loving the new wall decals

My camera shots aren't the best due to using my phone camera
now its nice to have it all finished
even though its work
its my simple pleasure to be a nice and comfy and back together

    Congrats on getting the painting done. I painted my kids bedroom blue 4 years ago but am feeling the need to go back to white -- it's the mess and the moving of things that is keeping me from getting started. Always feels good when you get it done. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

    I can relate, Glenna, having updated my family room not long ago. So much work, but the rewards of finishing are great. Good job!

    It feels so good to get things done doesn't it? I am looking forward to the first week of August when I am off for a week or so. So glad you stopped for a visit at Behind the Gate. I am afraid I don't have much advise for you with your hydrangea's. The pictures I took were mostly from my neighbors. It seems when you ignore them, they thrive!
