Easter
my favorite time of year
of all the other days Easter means more to me
love CHRISTmas and the birth of JESUS
however
Easter brings the new beginnings
new life, the renewing , the freshness of
spring
all things come to life near Easter
just as JESUS brought to us
the new life by the shedding of his precious blood
it just makes me feel so alive
I am like a kid at Easter yep this old gal
loves to
color eggs as you know they taste better
at Easter
each year I try to give up something for Lent
and in the giving up
the closeness
I feel
reminds me of an old song
draw me nearer , nearer to the cross
that is my prayer
draw me nearer , nearer to you JESUS
each day
Without Easter,
there would be no hope of heaven.
Without the hope of heaven,
there would be no repentance,
no personal transformation,
no attempt to follow biblical principles.
Without Easter,
the world would be in chaos
and darkness.
Jesus’ death and resurrection
means we can be reborn,
to live better, to do better,
to shine light into the shadows.

Thank heavens we believe there is another life where we will embrance our loved ones once again....and Glenna, it's sooner than later.
