First let me say that I am a born again christian and try to follow what JESUS would have me do ..I fail him daily, yet he picks me up and says try again my child !!!! knowing that he is closer to me than the air I breathe !that I am just dust designed by my Redeemer!! Remember when reading my blogs they are not wrote correct but from the heart ! I need lessons in writing correctly and making these interesting. I grew up in a small town and everyone knowing my family to come to a state with my husband that I knew almost no one I will say after 23 years its still hard ...I love to go back to KY as its where most of my family are I come from a large family of 9 me being the 9th ... Some of my interest are Genealogy , Landscaping, photography , love watching HGTV and now learning to Blog Again keep in mind all my posts are from the heart.. I love to laugh love being around good old friends and family I want enjoy each day as each day is a gift from the Master Creator !! my motto is I remain 29 forever !!!!! :)

Simple pleasures Thursday !!! 10 6 2010

Project Simple Pleasures2


I ran right into something I love Simple Pleasures series this morning which happen to be a Thursday you can click on her blog or the link at the top simple pleasures and blog your simple pleasures.


My first Thursday of simple pleasures

Each morning as I wake my husband brings to my bed a cup of nice hot black coffee and yes its with lots of love that he does this .
Most mornings I am so sleepy that I fail to say thank you or see its love for me that he does this .

For this simple act of kindness brings me much pleasure as I say
It is in the simple things that brings us the greatest blessings

Thanks to my husband for such a simple act of love !!!

    Thank you for posting this. I think since beginning Multitude Monday I have tried to be more aware, more thankful.......Simple Pleasures is another way of looking deeper into something that blesses your heart. I will consider doing this in the future

    I am late getting to enjoy all of the other simple pleasures this week, but I'm plugging along.... AND so glad to read this one because I totally relate to it. My wonderful husband does the same thing when he's home. Because he travels during the week, I never take his sweet morning offering for granted either.

    It's so nice to know that there are good men in this world and wives who love them! Elizabeth at Just Following Jesus has one too. We have a club!! Grin.

    Glad you found the party. It's a favorite part of my week.
