First let me say that I am a born again christian and try to follow what JESUS would have me do ..I fail him daily, yet he picks me up and says try again my child !!!! knowing that he is closer to me than the air I breathe !that I am just dust designed by my Redeemer!! Remember when reading my blogs they are not wrote correct but from the heart ! I need lessons in writing correctly and making these interesting. I grew up in a small town and everyone knowing my family to come to a state with my husband that I knew almost no one I will say after 23 years its still hard ...I love to go back to KY as its where most of my family are I come from a large family of 9 me being the 9th ... Some of my interest are Genealogy , Landscaping, photography , love watching HGTV and now learning to Blog Again keep in mind all my posts are from the heart.. I love to laugh love being around good old friends and family I want enjoy each day as each day is a gift from the Master Creator !! my motto is I remain 29 forever !!!!! :)

Simple pleasure thrusday April 14 2011

My simple pleasure this week is one that I have longed for around six months oh it
is one that I love so much.
This past Saturday I was off work and this morning it was warm enough
for my husband and I to take our coffee outside for a morning
of sitting on the porch early watching the sun rise and enjoy
the beauty of all the things GOD allows us to enjoy

Morning coffee with my husband and our doggies along with the birds singing to us a warm morning
watching the sun come up .  Sure doesn't get any better . Simple pleasures sure are awesome

    Nothing better then getting warm weather again and being able to get outside and to porch sit....This is an awesome simple pleasure!

    My husband and I added a porch to our house three years ago. It is something I've always wanted, and because it faces north, it is the perfect place when days are hot....which they usually are in July and August. My husband goes to a chair with a book when he gets off work at the mill. It's certainly a simple pleasure, as yours is.

    I love my morning tea outside. I love to be outside pretty much all the time, but it is always a treat when my husband comes out and joins me. Lovely porch you have!

    You've described one of my favorite simple pleasures, period. Morning coffee outdoors, although we have ours in the back. It somehow makes the coffee even better. Love your porch!

    Glenna, if I had a front porch like yours I'd be out there all the time!
    Especially if I had a rocking chair to sit and sip in ;-)
