Simple Pleasure
My simple pleasure today is bird watching
I enjoy watching them summer and winter
summer more than winter
I have many feeders for them year round
This little bird bought me a special pleasure
on this cold and snowy day
sitting on the clematis climber as if to say it will
be spring soon and you can see
your much loved flowers
What a delight on such a cold and snowy day
I am for sure not a snow or winter lover
I long to see it in bloom
like the spring picture below

I just love how much you enjoy God's creation
ReplyDeleteI'm always a bit envious of those who see birds so up close and personal. We have so many squirrels around here that the birds stay high in the trees, for the most part. But what a great simple pleasure, watching God's creation.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great simple pleasure nothing more enjoyable then watching something you love...I'm with you I cant wait until spring!

ReplyDeleteYes, I truly rejoice with teh simple pleasure of watching the bird in all seasons. The other day they came closer to my window and as I tried to snap a picture they heard me move the mini-blind, then up they went.
Blessings to you,
Katia
I love watching birds too! They are always "about something" they never stop. I also agree about liking it through all seasons.
ReplyDeleteIt's a simple pleasure that you and I share for sure.
Bird watching...seeing them eat...watching them at play - it really is a pleasure to be entertained by them...right from our kitchen window :)
